Free or Low-Cost Internet Service:

Spectrum: Providing eligible households with a temporary credit toward broadband service of up to $50 per month, or $75 per month for households on Tribal lands. Eligibility: A member of the household must qualify for one of the following: (1) Medicaid; (2) SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits (3) SSI (Supplemental Security Income); (4) Section 8 Federal Public Housing Authority (FPHA) support; (5) Veterans and Survivor's Pension benefit; (6) Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision, or did so in the 2019-2020 school year; (7) Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; (8) Experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020 and the household had a total income in 2020 below $99,000 for single filers and $198,000 for joint filers (9) Meets the eligibility criteria for Spectrum’s low-income program; (10) Federal Lifeline customers. 

Connect2Compete: Offering low-cost internet service. Eligibility: Families that have a K-12 student and receive one of the following government assistance programs: National School Lunch Program (NSLP), SNAP, TANF or Public Housing. Also have not subscribed to Cox Internet in last 90 days or have any outstanding bills or unreturned equipment with Cox.

ConnectAssist: Offering low-cost internet service. Eligibility: 
Households who currently participate in eligible income-based government assistance programs such as: (1) SNAP; (2) TANF; (3) Head Start; (4) Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC); (5) Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP); (6) Certain Public Housing programs; (7) Pell Grant; (8) Veterans Pension; (9) Certain Tribal Programs; (10) Supplemental Security Income (SSI); or (11) Certain state Medicaid programs.

EveryoneOn.org: Offering low-cost internet service. Eligibility: Must meet one of the following guidelines: (1) Low-income (household of four: at or below $49,000 annual income); (2) Live in public housing; (3) Participate in the National School Lunch Program (free or reduced lunch at school); (4)  Participate in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (food stamps); (5) Participate in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF); (6)  Participate in Supplemental Security Income (SSI); (7) Participate in Medicaid or Medi-Cal; (8) Participate in Veterans Pension and Survivor Benefits; (9) Participate in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP); (10) Bureau of Indian Affairs.

AT&T: Low cost internet. Eligibility: Must meet the following guidelines: (1) At least one person in the household participates in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); (2) Live in one of the 21 states where AT&T provides wire line home Internet service; and at least one of the Access from AT&T Internet speed tiers is available at the address.  California residents also are eligible if: (1) At least one member of the household receives SSI benefits; (2) At least one of the Access from AT&T Internet speed tiers is available at the address.  COVID-19 Update: During this time, Access from AT&T is temporarily: (1) Expanding eligibility based on income and to households participating in National School Lunch Program/Head Start.
